"We stayed over for one night. This property is situated between Pretoria's two major shopping malls-the Broolyn mall and the Menlyn Mall. Brooklyn is about three minutes drive from the property and Menlyn about seven minutes. It is situated in a very quiet affluent neighborhood with 24 hour security. "Previously I have been to a 5-Star Manor in Mpumalanga and amazing 4-Star hotels which I felt they standard was just 5-Star. However this time around my 5-Star expectation was not met at all. The rooms are nice and big - really that's about the good thing I can say. However for a 5-star and with the COVID-19 outbreak; I expected a bit of attention to hygiene however the cleanliness was not up to standard in my personal view. "The hotel has a small number of rooms sharing a bathroom plus chalets with en-suite accommodation and some further chalets away from the complex and in the bush where zebra and impala are a regular sight. It is off the beaten track so a car is essential and there are no other restaurants apart from the hotel's nearby. The staff are attentive and eager to please and we were thoroughly looked after. There is a reasonable sized swimming pool on site."
