The hotel had a wedding booked so the restaurant and bar were closed. The hotel staff messaged me ahead of time to warn me, but I didn’t receive in time. "Such a well run hotel. It was a pleasure to stay here. So much thoughtfulness and care without being fussy or stuffy. The setting is gorgeous and the comfort is top notch. I arrived on a late train, was met at the station, whisked to the hotel, greeted there by two of the staff and then one of the owners, given a tour to get oriented and taken to a comfortable room that was quiet and had a great night's sleep.
