"We so enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Rovinj. It’s a very special hotel and really such a pleasure to be there. The hotel is next to a lovely pine filled park where you can cycle and swim from Rocky beaches. The facilities of the hotel are very luxurious from hot towels in the gym, the golf cart that took us to the tennis centre, and Hannah the hawk who sees off the seagulls from the infinity pool! "We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."
