"It was so convenient for us to stay here and in the middle of the night walk up to the bottom of Adam's Peak and climb the mountain. The hotel provides meals as well which is handy. The staff are helpful."

"Good location for climbing Adam’s peak but room condition was poor. Dirty bedsheets and filthy towels. After we arrived back from climbing Adam’s peak there was no power so we had to take cold showers. "

"I had booked this hotel for one night on 13th Feb 2020. We had come to Nallathaniya only to climb the Adam's Peak. We were to arrive in the evening, stretch out a bit, spend the night climbing Adam's peak and check out after breakfast. As we were to spend just a few hours at the hotel, all that we expected was a decent room with a clean functional bathroom. Alas! we were in for a huge disappointment. The room allotted to us was a tiny hole in the wall kind of room with just two beds,no chair...

"There is a lot to like about the Slightly Chilled Yellow House. The staff was excellent - very knowledgeable and eager to accommodate any request. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The location is great - just 500m to the start of the Adam’s Peak trail. And there are other walks through tea plantations right out the door. The room was generally fine, though felt a bit tired - not run down, just not crisp. It also smelled musty."

"Ok hotel, but felt more like a hostel, no mosquito net over the bed but gaps under balcony and main door made us feel uneasy sleeping there. Staff friendly and helped organise taxi when leaving . Overall ok for the location / use for few hours sleep before the climb."
