"The resort is lovely, staff are all wonderful. The resort is secluded, nice and private. Very quiet, lovely area. The staff are extremely nice and attentive. The resort food was delicious; the gift shop very nice. The pool was very refreshing while the beach was breezy and so comfortable to nap on. I also loved seeing the Masai walking around the property, they were nice and more than happy to take pictures with. I will definitely recommend and return to the resort in the future!"

"What an experience. One of the more quieter and nicer all inclusive resorts on Zanzabar. 1/2 board though, but breakfast and dinner were ample buffets. Lots of local dishes and for such a remote place, much of the food is locally sourced. Fruit at breakfast and desserts made with local ingredients are standouts. "My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "
