"Nice hotel. Our room was quiet hot, they tried to sort it, but it's not aircon, so it was a bit uncomfortable at night. Reception gave us a fan which helped a bit. Breakfast was lovely. So much to choose from. I started every day with a shot of ginger and lemon from Mimmi. She is the star of the Clarion Hotel. A wonderful woman. So happy and helofuk."

"The best thing about this hotel is the super friendly staff at reception who were lovely and very helpful. It was a little disappointing as a Hotels.com Platinum member that I was not offered a room upgrade even though my friends in other rooms were offered an upgrade when they checked in before and after me. However, I had dropped a debit card in reception and as soon as got to my room they called me to notify me. This was great service. We were also able to have a late checkout with no trouble...

"Yes, the rooms are small, but they’re well designed and if you’re clever with your packing you can easily fit everything into your room. The bar and restaurant downstairs are both very good and hip. The highlight is the breakfast in their restaurant. They just need a toaster."

"Lovely staff! The room and bed was great, very comfortable. Breakfast is top tier, very good selection and always well stocked. The only negative for me was the bathroom, it’s a bit small, even in the JR suite. It’s a wet room and personally, I prefer a bathroom with separate shower/bath area. Fine for the six nights stayed though and wouldn’t let that put you off staying. "
