"The hotel and its staff are absolutely amazing. I have a severe nut allergy, so traveling to India is a bit nerve-wracking. Unfortunately, on the first morning, I had a reaction at the hotel breakfast. The staff sprang into action and got us transportation to the hospital. The F&B manager even came to the hospital to check on me. Luckily the reaction wasn't so severe, but the way the staff handled it was very impressive. Big thanks to Abel and the Port Muziris staff."

But for a 5-star they seemed lacking in some areas where they missed keeping the snacks and beverages in the room as well lack of some important stuff required for a hotel stay. Breakfast was good with good variety. All restaurants and even room service closes at 10.30 pm which is a complete NO for a 5-star hotel"

"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. I was also highly impressed with the hotels very real efforts to eliminate the use of plastics an recycle...

"The property and location is really good and so are the staff. But the appliances in the room were not upto the mark. Our bathroom shower handle was broken. The hot water indicator was not visible. The washroom opens directly to the pantry."
