"We had a fab time here. Our room was spacious, clean and had a fantastic view of the pool. Plenty of choices for breakfast, all very tasty. The pools are clean and the water has a pleasant temperature. The hotel is located next to a very beautiful beach and the marina. They arranged a surprise for my partner’s birthday. All staff are friendly and approachable. Cocktails by the preferred club pool were superb. "

It you're looking for an all-inclusive on the beach choice, this one isn't for you and didn't appear to have loads of options for kids. We were looking for a really nice 3 days away as a couple without loads of plans and just relaxing. The hotel was beautifully designed and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was also so friendly and helpful. "

"The Volcan is a lovely resort with very good staff and service. I gave it only four stars for several reasons. The food was very bland and boring and we ate in the restaurant at night just twice in 11 nights. Apparently there was another restaurant on site but it was closed. Fortunately we were at the Marina with lots of food options and ate there the rest of the time. We had Breakfast there, but no fresh strawberries, Raspberries or Blueberries.
