"Beautiful hotel and grounds and very attentive staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. The only problem with this hotel is that the restaurant never opened during our stay. Though bar staff is terrific and try to accomodate the guests with their limited meals. A long walk to the beach and the center of town. "

"Great value for money. Really nice fellow at reception, waiting for my late arrival in the evening. It's an old building, some areas of the room show that, but bathroom really clean and updated. Other areas are more modernised. Quiet, my room looked to the street, but no noise. I had a great night sleep. When I need to spend a night in Santander, no doubt, I will book it again."

"Hotel was large, clean and comfortable. Reception was efficient. Car park good but spaces quite small. Room was adequate but nothing special. Breakfast good. Biggest problem was the restaurant was shut for dinner and we were told the nearest restaurant was about 800 metres away. There was a shelf of snack meal for sale at very high prices. "

The staff is friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs (worthy of its 5 stars). It has a refined and modern look yet offers a wealth of culture inside through its art and food. The service is superb, the food is delicious and the beds are so comfortable. Will definitely come back. "
