"We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."

"The view is beautiful and the room is clean but a bit on the small side, also the lighting is quite dim. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. They helped us to unload our luggage and brought to the room. On first night, there was a big party went on until 2:30 in the morning, we did complain but nothing they could do. However we did have a room service for breakfast the next day which was very nice. The breakfast is very good, freshly cooked egg dishes of your choice with...

"Major construction of a hotel close by. Noise 7a to 5p. Could not enjoy the beautiful view from the room due to the pounding and the banging. Place is very tired. 2.25 miles, 50 minute walk to city center. Host was very nice, outgoing. Would not recommend. "
