"We were in La Boca for 5 days and used Hostal Cuba as our base while we explored the area. The apartment and the hosts were fantastic and can be highly recommended. "Hello. I am not really used to leave feedbacks on this platform but I feel this might be useful. Rating this hostel strictly appeals to what you really need. It is surely decently cheap for EU standards (but similar to other Cuban hostels we guested at), it is 10 min walking or even less from Downtown, crew is friendly, the restaurant it shares spaces with seems a pretty good one.
