"The hotel is very dated and the rooms a little quirky. Our room in particular sloped in various directions the tv bureau sloped one way and the desk table another. Difficult when trying to make a coffee in the morning when the cup slides down the table. However an enjoyable stay."

Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and professional. The only negatives were when the corporate side of things disturbed the other guests - the braying sales teams taking over the breakfast room with their luggage wasn't ideal, nor the loud wedding planning meeting while we were relaxing in the residents’ lounge. "Perfectly pleasant place to stay. I booked with the intention of using the spa. Having drove down from Yorkshire I was told there was only 18 spaces so could not use the spa facilities. I was not guided that any pre booking was required ….perhaps naive of me. So quite disappointed. Would have looked at other venues if I knew I could not use all the facilities. "

"Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. My biggest complaint was that it was so warm we had to keep the windows open all the time, which meant we had to listen to traffic noise all the time, and there is a lot of traffic noise. Other notes: Window blinds were damaged and half-functional. Combination clothes washer/dryer does not dry effectively. Only one key is provided for an apartment that sleeps six. "
