"Stay was overall pleasant. The staff is definitely nice to guests. They open the doors for you, when you get back to your hotel from a car, they will open the car door for you… I felt secure the whole time. The room inside was not too bad at all. The standard room is large, the decor was nice, and nice amenities inside like coffee maker, small fridge, and water replenished every day. The restaurant was pretty nice as well. "Actually the hotel itself is OK. But the manager is corrupt! He claims that he hasn't been paid by Orbitz in over a year. Insisted that I pay the hotel directly before I could check out, even though Orbitz verified that they paid him. Orbitz still working on getting him to reimburse them (and thus me). I have recommended that Orbitz black list the Hotel Sol Beni, or at least stop listing it on their website."

"I got to the hotel at 9:47pm. I asked about dinner and I was told it is on-going. They assigned a room to me and I went to drop my luggages. "Extremely disappointing stay. The property did not honor the reservation. Did not provide a shuttle pickup from the airport. Neither I nor Expedia could get in touch with the property via email or phone. The property and room is in disrepair. Electronic lock on the door did not work, outlets, and lights were not functioning. No running water at times during my stay. "
