"The staff was very attentive and friendly. At check in they insisted on taking our bags to our room and escorted us to go over the amenities and answer questions. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We particularly liked the pool and sculptures around the landscape.we also liked that they are right on the lake but separated from the public walk. The below ground spa and indoor pool were an amazing amenity to have in such an historic building. The rooftop restaurant provided an elevated take on the Veronese tradition of cooking, and carried a fantastic wine selection. Superb and responsive staff, not overbearing.
