"The hotel and surrounding area were beautiful, reception staff really helpful. Downside restaurant only open at weekend, bar snacks available but limited and pricy. Breakfast slightly disappointing both in quality and quantity compared to our previous stay. Also previous visit the bar was known for its gin and tonic.. not any more just slapped in a glass with.. wait for it.. a slice of dehydrated orange"

"This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced."

"Beautifully restored Manor House that feels more like a museum than a hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. Every nook and cranny of the hotel is packed with antiques and interesting artefacts. Very interesting but somehow rather unnerving too! The only negative of our stay was dinner in the restaurant which was hideously overpriced - it was €100 for two very small main courses which consisted only of a fish fillet in a fresh sauce, no...
