"Lovely hotel, fabulous setting. Just off a very busy road but could be in the heart of the country. Very quiet. City buses stop outside the hotel and DART(commuter train) station is only a short walk away. Bedrooms a bit dated. Shower is over the bath which might be a problem for some. Excellent breakfast, great selection and all hot food was actually hot. Superb staff. Had lunch in the bar on day 1 and it was good. Only complaint was the cost of alcohol in the bar...€9.20 for a pint of Orchard...

"This hotel is exceptional. This was one of the best 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. From the doorman, to housekeeping, to food service, the staff is fantastic. Everyone greets you by name. The room was beautiful and very clean. The cleanliness was remarkable. I had several meals from room service, all served beautifully and delicious. The hotel actually made me want to stay in rather than go out, it was that lovely. What a great property."

"Our stay at Sweet Inn - Ballsbridge Dublin was horrible: My daughter referred to it as the house of nightmares come true. All three kids refused to sleep alone in any of the bedrooms because they were so creeped out. The property was described as a 5 star accomodation. However, it has felt like a 3 star poorly maintained airbnb house that has been let for a long time and not been refreshed in a long time. - the doonas and pillows are old and oily and sweaty smelling. They need to be replaced...
