"A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The service from staff has been exemplary, with particular regard for David (in the restaurant) and Sequoia (uncertain spelling, on reception). They, and others have been great advisers to first-time visitors. Other staff were excellent in minor interactions. The house is stunning, in a beautiful setting with every possible extra covered from hairdryers to pool umbrellas from spacious bathrooms to sandwich toasters! However the star of the show is Lisa! She helped me plan my best friend’s Hen Weekend organising airport transfers, cooking amazing tapas, finding me someone to teach salsa and then recommending the talented Eliza to sing for us whilst we ate...

"Alora is a bustling little town nestled on a hill and the room I had overlooked the old Moorish fort on the adjoining hill. Beautiful ! The hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and the owners Paco and Monica were lovely. And great value for the single traveller "
