"The location of the hotel is very good. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Muslim quarter and the drum tower. We booked the luxury room and were upgraded to a suite, thank you! Bed was amazing and bathroom had luxurious Lanvin amenities. Staff were very friendly and professional specially the concierge who went above and beyond helping us retrieve something we left behind in the train from Beijing. Exceptional service. "

The facilities at the hotel are great; adequate gym, good breakfast, laundry facilities and friendly, helpful staff. "The building and the room has the old english theme which is very unique. i totally understand if the hotel management want to keep to the theme but some refurbishments are needed as the room look worn out i.e bathroom tiles, the cabinets, carpets. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve. It is so conveniently located within 200 feet distance you can access to everything you need. We wish there is more hotel like this. The breakfast is fantastic and we all are over eaten at times.
