"Very friendly and helpful staff, they gave us information to find our way into Strasbourg by tram, which was about a 10 minute walk from hotel. It’s a little remote so walking back late at night made my partner feel a little uncomfortable, but having said that we didn’t encounter any problems. We found the hotel room a little chilly in the evening, and TV channels in English were very limited. We watched Netflix from our phone instead with free Wi-Fi. "This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. "Staff is super nice. Hotel is a bit outdated, the rooms can use a decoration refresh but they are big and clean. About a 10 min walk to Gengenbach town centre. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the vibe looked relaxing. "

"It was really enjoyable and the receptionists were very welcoming and happy to help all the time. If staying here but plan to go to Strasbourg get the DB navigator app to buy bus tickets as transport was hard to navigate without it"
