Have to walk a bit if need to go to bus stop. Limited eateries near hotel, mostly seafood restaurants. Food price not the cheapest. "

"We had a great experience at Layers, from beginning to end. It was clean and comfortable. Customer service was excellent. Right off the subway exit so it was super convenient as well. We were 4 girls traveling together, we felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend."

"I loved the hotel and the local. This was a business meeting for me in the conventions center, and although the whole week was rainy this was a very close and within easy walking distance from the hotel. The Mama's buffet restaurant on the third floor was excellent. I ate only one hotel breakfast but this on 2nd floor and was only passable. "I have no complaints about the property and staff: superb in my viewpoint. However the surrounding areas were dejected looking to the eyes and reminded me like I was in the ghetto. I do not speak the language but people were nice. Therefore if you don’t mind the surroundings areas, a very nice place to be at. "
