"King key hotel, once you get over the name this large hotel is good value for money. Breakfast was pretty good with some western options. The bar wasn’t open which was a bit disappointing. "

"The overall environment is good and we enjoyed our two days stay. Could walk up to 1km on the beach. The only negative thing that really need consideration from the hotel management is rooms are smelly. They are too old and need renovating. Nevertheless, nice staff, delicious buffet with all sea food stuff. Worth mentioning is I read about someone who commented here about the hotel being closer to the Daya bay nuclear power plant;that is not a nuclear power plant. It is a coal fired power plant....

"For a solo trip, this ended up being a lot of fun...but was a bit difficult to get to. I opted to take a cab which ended up being a bit expensive, but it was worth it to me. "We had to cancel the last nine days of our trip or risk getting stuck in China due to Coronavirus concerns. Completely unseen and out of our control. Still, the hotel refused to refund any of of our stay, even though they told our Chinese daughter-in-law that they would refund as long as it was initiated by Orbitz. Orbitz tried for almost a month but was unable to secure a refund for us. We will be staying elsewhere when we visit family in the future."
