For a four star hotel the the facilities in the room were limited. No spare toilet roll, no shaving mirror and the room itself was a little small. The toilet did not flush that well and the hot water/heating pipes were noisy. "

"Lovely place and surroundings with very friendly staff. The garden studio was lovely. The only couple of negative points I had were: the blinds and window areas were very dirty with cobwebs in the window area near the bed, so I didn't open the windows. The room smelt like dogs in places. I'm aware pets are allowed but I thought a thorough clean would take place before the next guest. It wasn't great for my asthma symptoms. Apart from this, it was all fine :-)"

While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. "The overall experience was good. Offsite parking is available for a small number of cars but i parked on the bext street. Initial welcome could've been improved as i wasnt given a great deal of information about the hotel, facilities or location of the room. The room was a converted loft area. Small but good amenities. "Wow, we had a 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub, and it was absolutely perfect 👌 Clean, spacious and beautiful views. Staff were very helpful, had to call as the boiler went off, they arrived promptly and fixed in 2mins. Shout out Will, great quiz and funny bingo night. Would come back in a heartbeat 💯"
