"This hotel is very beautiful, but food is very limited with little variety. The breakfast was just different types of granola, eggs, lunch meat, and rolls! No toast or pastries which was very odd. The restaurant at night offers salads, fish, and chicken all with risotto which was also bizarre since most German food comes with potatoes. Besides lacking in food choices, this hotel has tons of stairs! Be prepared to cart your luggage up and down them since there are no elevators. Very remote...

"Well this hotel had a solution. A good swimming pool, jaccuzzi , steam bath , sauna and an indoor games room. My daughter of 6 years of age forgot completely about the terrible weather outside. Only one small criticism was there was no internet service in the room ( only available in the lobby area ) ."

"Prachtige omgeving, prima geschikt om te wandelen. Stil, redelijk afgelegen. Nette, verzorgde kamers. Leuk restaurant en terras; menu met typisch duitse kaart. Hotelpersoneel kwam wat ongeïnteresserd over; restaurantpersonnel meer betrokken. Prima ontbijtbuffet met ruime keuze. "

"We were unfortunate to have gotten a room above the restaurant, where until late at night a party took place. This room should not have been rented out, certainly not as a 4-star hotel room. All the lady at reception could offer was the remark that they could of course not leave the hotel empty when a party takes place. Also a minibar was missing in the room. The room was simply not worth the money and this was a once but never again experience. The two other nights and most of the other staff...

"Beautiful scenery and very friendly staff. This hotel is in the middle of a forest. Rooms were very spacious for our family and breakfast was delicious!"
