"Nice family friendly hotel in a good location and secure parking for a very small fee. Close to motorway, 15 minutes from Breda city centre, local attractions and nature (Biesbosch). Lots of local shops, pubs and food places on the doorstep. Friendly service, good breakfast and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Family room we booked was huge with a seating area and lots of space but a little dark. We will definitely book again for our regular trips to this part of the Netherlands. "

"I loved everything about my stay. From the greeting on arrival, to the lovely room which has been given so much thought from design to the little things left for the guest, ear buds for example. The corridors give a great feel. The staff are super friendly and smiley. I loved it more than many hotels i have stayed."

"I stayed in the old hotel many years ago and it was fine, the new building is fantastic, very clean and well laid out. The restaurant did a good selection and quality of food at a reasonable price. The breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds but ideally mattress toppers that don't move would be better. "Excellent staff. Everyone very friendly and helpful. There was a very kind lady on the front desk whose name I don't have and also Storm who was very helpful and kind also. "This is the second Van der Valk hotel we have stayed in. We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of the Decibel Festival. The hotel is great, and the breakfast is worth the money. We had an evening meal, which was good value for money. We also used the swimming pool, which was nice. The hotel is not far from the central station, and I would advise using the bus service followed by a short walk through the park. I would recommend this hotel to others"

"Lovely hotel however we would suggest a king size bed be used with same size mattress instead of topper as kept moving about. Also big issue with lighting, especially when trying to apply makeup etc. However the hotel is a lovely place and would recommend. "
