"Gerl Hotel is a place not only to sleep while travelling but to spend time in the hotel as well. It has a great resturant and the breakfast was very tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Shame the main spa (which is spectacular) opens only at 11:00 and closes at 20:00. "

Contactless check in and check out was seamless with really nice consideration for a slightly later checkout by the manager. Communication was also easy, messages replied almost instantly. "A very nice hotel. No A/C was the reason it missed 5 stars. Our Junior suite was nice and roomy, nice bathroom and good mattress. Other then the initial problem at check in we only met great people working there. Breakfast is probably the best you’ll get within 100km. Al in all a very nice stay and we certainly will chose it again once we need to visit our Bavarian family roots again. "
