"The accommodation was great, far better than expected (and we did our homework looking at reviews prior). The restaurant and bar were expensive and it would have been great to see a local ale or 2 on tap. That said, the resort is a short walk from town. And that walk is part of the experience of mission beach. "

"When we arrived we were shown to an awful room at the back of the hotel, it looked like the safety latch had been smashed off. It had no cooking facilities. We requested an upgrade and paid an extra 50 dollars. We moved into this room which was much better, unpacked then noticed a big hole beside the door… we then moved again, just to next door. "The room was clean and nicely presented. The bed was comfortable, the room was private and secure. There is facilities to make your own breakfast, BYO food. Tea and coffee provided. The staff were lovely and friendly, with really fast assistance with one minor issue that was resolved in less than 3 minutes. "
