"Loved the georgian architecture. Staff was friendly, gracious, helpful and kind. We really loved walking around the interior and looking at the stunning wedding venues. You must see Rod's train cars for their private dining options. Lunch at the Red Dog Tavern was delicious, and our waiter Steven gave us great recommendations. "The rooms are large and nicely decorated. They are quiet and comfortable. Two small issues - the bathroom sink didn’t drain very well and the desk chair looked like it had been dragged across a rough surface. The upholstery was torn away at the edges. Every thing was very clean."

"I attended a milestone high school reunion and stayed here along with 150 of us. The party was held in a banquet room on site. Everything was wonderful including food. My only concern is the removal of a manila folder with my trip info and a $100 Visa gift card I was planning to give to the organizer. I know I should’ve used the safe!!"

"The room was quiet, comfortable and very clean. The Hotel as a whole was very nice. Front desk service was excellent. The only issue we had was with their restaurant. it took quite a while for us to get what we ordered, and some of the staff appeared to be an experienced and forgetting things like utensils and water and part of an entrée. A manager came over to introduce himself and was very friendly and explained that next year I suppose early next year they will be revamping the hotel and...

"It's a beautiful place but rooms need upgrade. Old room no fridge or microwave. Went with a child and didn't have a fridge to put her milk in. It was very disappointing. Room next to mine was shut down under construction."
