"Beautiful place, very clean, great room, well organised hotel, 99% of staff very happy to help it was fantastic to see, only one morning chief grumpy & rude however it’s no reflection on the rest of the staff they were fantastic. Reasonable choice of food for dinner however the steak we ordered was tough which should not happen in a classy place like the Grand Central Hotel plus the beer a little on the warm side and red wine should not be chilled in fridge only kept on the self. "this is nice marriott hotel but clean & modern & keen staff. good size rooms. i may trry the executive floor next time has good gym + pool The only drawback is proximity to subway station is short walk. plenty malls nearby with normal fast foods kfc etc shopping malls are approx /mins walk away good blue frog western style restaurant opposite with good draft beers selection+ happy hours till 8pm. good range of grilled foods/steaks etc & fair prices "

"Great service also friendly staff very quick to respond - lovely breakfast catering for Asian and western pallets - only constructive critique is that in winter December cooler months the heating is high in the rooms and we needed to move rooms to get a room that windows could open as I like to sleep in a cooler environment of around 18-21 Celsius and I find 25-30 Celsius too hot to sleep in - luckily the hotel was able to move me to a room with windows that can open - Hotel is right by the...

"Awesome property, this was the second hotel in my Shanghai trip and I can tell you, comparing with the first hotel we stayed this hotel is fabulous! Super well located, spacious room, well maintained and new property, super friendly staff and they also communicate very well in English. Fairly good breakfast, hotel was able to handle airport transportation for us easily. I will absolutely stay in the hotel again when visiting Shanghai "
