"I wanted to stay in a German hotel, so I chose Mövenpick Hotel München Airport in Hallbergmoos. It was rated a Four Stars hotel, but was actually Three Stars. It lacked the high end feel and amenities usually part of a Four Star stay. The Star rating is different than a Four Star Review. The front office staff was very helpful, spoke English and very accommodating. They provided an adapter since I'd forgotten mine. I had premier room, so it was spacious. "The concierge was very helpful with the security for my bike as I had forgotten to bring a lock with me on my trip up from Munich. He also happily upgraded my room after a misunderstanding on the booking. Downsides were, no restaurant, which I took as a given when the hotel has photographs of meals on its various sites. My upgraded room had very tall windows of which only the bottom section had blackout curtains meaning I struggled to sleep (perhaps the hotel could supply sleep masks for these...
