"This was a clean, recently remodeled hotel… but very basic: not even a chair to sit in, in the room… no hairdryer, no microwave or fridge in the room. The swimming pool looked beautiful but was not heated, so we didn’t go in… quiet overall, and plenty of safe parking. The office is staffed 24/7 and they were happy to give us bottled water/towels as needed. We stayed 3 nights and didn’t notice any housekeeping services in that time, which was fine. "Properly is about a block from beach ideal location! Rooms clean. We got charges extra for the dogs which is always a surprise it should be part of the reservation! Otherwise it worked well for us "

"For a budget stopover the Hotel Diamante could not be faulted. The room was spacious with two king size beds. In a room off there was a good sized sink area, toilet and shower. The shower had plenty of hot water and the water quickly became hot at the sink. Besides the television there was a microwave and decent sized fridge. Outside the pool was sadly drained for maintenance, but we managed to have a drink on the unusual poolside chairs. The receptionist was helpful pointing out a nearby eatery...

"In Town of San Felipe "

"I reserved and paid for a room with water view guaranteed. When I got to the office window the lady said there were no more but the parking lot was empty except for 2 cars. She made me pay more out of pocket for a room that didn’t have water views."

"The lady running this place is extremely professional. Everything is super clean and smells nice. The office too. She told me that the front desk is 24 hours and she meant it. There is always someone there. Some may find the rooms to be Spartan, but please, consider the room you would have for that price in Seattle, or Minneapolis, etc. You have a nice, clean room in a safe area. Simple walk to shopping and the beach. Cement beds don't squeak."
