"We chose this hotel because of our desire to get off the main highway as night drew in. Our first impression of the hotel was coloured by our tiredness and its busy location. However…I share that because my husband and I were ultimately very impressed enough by this hotel to write a review. It was spotless, the staff very helpfu, the bed and pillows were super comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was superb! …and the location turned out to be ideal…we were able to catch a bus into the historical area of Turin without having to worry about parking and there is a shopping centre close by for some needed essentials. "stayed for 5 nights with my adult son for a 5 day ski trip. it iwas an ideal hotel for a boys trip. we rented a junior suite with two double beds with a glorius view of the mountain and the cig-roc lift. the main entry and ticket office to the sestriere ski resort is directly across the street from the hotel. the ski check is below the ski ticket office so that was an added plus! we drove to the hotel rather than take a complex blend of trains and buses and with car rental prices so cheap in milan airport it came out to about the same price for two of us. the breakfast is ok. nothing cooked but enough to get by. the staff were kind and wonderful people. the only reason i gave 4 star is because the hotel feels dated but that was also charming. if skiing is your main object and you want to be as close to ski in/.ski out in a comfortable setting that doesnt break th bank, this is your best bet. "
