"Beautifully renovated chateau, combining a thoughtful mixtiure of period features with modern touch. Our room was lovely but rather compact (we only stayed 2 nights so that was fine). We had views of front garden (impressive cedars). Super vista from the terrace and a great outdoor pool. Breakfast was very good but pricey 24€ pp.daily, served in the pavilion accessed by an underground passage. Reception staff were super helpful. "

"We loved the staff and the eclectic vibe at The LABE Hotel! The hotel is steps from the train station and the tourist info office from where many of our tours departed. Bike rental right down the street. Walked easily to all we wanted to see and do.. The staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast was delicious and nice to have an evening drink right downstairs. "I arrived at 11pm on Saturday for a 1 night stay to find the hotel shut up and nobody answering at reception . I waiting for 30 mins and still nobody arrived so I had to find an alternative . Very inconvenient "

"A lovely stay, and the staff could not possibly be nicer or more helpful. This is a historic property that forms its own compound in the heart of the pleasant village of Azay-le-Rideau. The hotel is a short walk from one of the most splendid of the Loire chateaux, and is aso centrally located for daytrips throughout the region. Our room was large and comfortable, if a bit sparsely furnished. The bathroom was quite new, modern, and well-fitted out. We'd happily have stayed longer."

"We were the only people in this chateau which was nice but kind of weird. They just reopened we were told. I liked my room; the mattress was very comfortable and the fabric on the walls was very elegant. It was a little tight with the queen bed but it was fine. The bathroom was fine apart from the 1/2 circle shower which I continuously banged into while showering. Other than that it was fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing around this place; in the middle of nowhere. "
