"We booked a last minute stay at this hotel for New Years Eve. We booked two rooms, and both were upgraded to have a lake view, and the hotel was kind enough to give us connecting rooms since we were there with our two tween sons. The hotel was in a PERFECT - PERFECT location!! The rooms were comfortable and had balconies. We would have had a perfect spot to watch all of the NYE fireworks, if not for the fact that our sons wanted to be on the lakefront. :) I absolutely recommend this...

"Ok hotel for a one-night stay before a flight. Has a restaurant on property, which is convenient. Rooms are clean, if simple, but ours was too hot (in February) and the a/c unit would only put out heat no matter what temp was set. We turned it off entirely in the end and eventually the room cooled to something resembling acceptable. The area around the hotel is basically an abandoned lot, but there is free parking available, which is a plus if you have a car rental, as we did."

"Couldnt really fault the hotel only there three nights and didnt eat in the restaurant as i was in the city so cant comment on that but its location isnt the best unless youre driving or willing to pay for taxis which can get expensive "

"Had a wonderful time at Villa Sassa. Friendly staff, very attentive, spacious room, wonderful wellness spa with pool, sauna, steam room. Delicious breakfast. Gorgeous view of the city and the lake. Want to come back during the summer time."
