"The property is an old mansion turned in the hotel. Location is terrible in the middle of nowhere, the restaurant is nice, downstairs sitting area is nice, but… no elevator, it’s dark to get up the wooden stairs and you have to look for switch to continue the climb. The room is small, sparse and stuffy. No screen on the window , so when we had to open the window in order to breathe, we were bitten by mosquitoes. I didn’t sleep at all. No coffee station or kettle in the room. Wasted money"

"Our family enjoyed a two night stay at Casona De La Pinta and we were very impressed. It was the highlight of our trip. We travelled from Biarritz, France into Spain and through Navarra, the Basque country and into Cantabria - and we fell in love with this boutique hotel and the village of Riocorvo. "We booked as 2 families with small children.. We booked 9 months in advance. We were given rooms on different floors. They were not interested in helping to overcome. A coach arrived when we were trying to book in. A line up of over 60 people with 1 person on reception. Spoke to manager in morning. Probably the rudest manager I’ve dealt with. Warning.dont book normal double room. They are horrible and on top floor with dormer window. Claustrophobic. Breakfast is poor. All...
