"We booked this hotel because it is centrally located in Umbria. It is quite remote and we did quite a bit of driving to get places. The hotel consists of several buildings in a country setting. Hotel is in a valley which is beautiful but does mean that the hours of sunshine are reduced (steep hills surround). Onsite restaurant is pretty good: good, local foods and attentive service. "This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay.
