"Three day trip to Tours, France. Hotel is very close to the main train station and easily walkable to all of the main attractions and shopping. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and self-service everything. Check in guy was a little brusque but everyone else was friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was simple, clean, and had a friendly and welcoming staff. It's located right on the Loire river and across the street is a walking path along the river. It has a tiny parking garage as part of the hotel. It was perfect for our needs."

"2 night stay. Loches is a wonderful town. Hotel is very clean and front desk service excellent. Room was very clean and well equipped. Did not have breakfast but did have evening meals in the restaurant. Food very good if a bit pricey. Only 4 stars as service on last night in bar and restaurant was very slow and staff were seemingly disorganised. Rooms pricey as not including breakfast but a good base to stay."

"Perfect place for visitors with a car as parking is difficult in the old city. Wonderful to have bar and lovely small food dishes available all day and into evening. It was too cold to use the pool but a lovely area for hot days. Also the lift in this old building was very helpful for baggage and upper floors. "

The continental breakfast was simple, but very nice. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "

"This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay."

"Beautiful property and helpful and friendly staff. I woke up each night around 2 am cause it was too warm and couldn't figure out how to use the AC, but I cool the room by opening the front door. But I never asked the front desk for help. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Prepare to be amazed by the beauty of this place. "
