"This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So...

"Very rural hotel. Bed can be improved. No AC this need to open window and mosquitoes came in. Dining option is little to nil. The menu has many items but they only have what they suggested - pork ribs (fried) and a turkey dish. Maybe because we were the only guest there?"
