"This is one of the best Paradors I have stayed at. Beautifully appointed, lovely fresh flowers everywhere, including a small greenery in a glass container in the bathroom. Very large and comfortable room. Expansive communal corridors outside the rooms to relax in. Paid parking available and plenty of free street parking. It is next to the Plaza Mayor so right in the centre of things, but very tranquil inside the building and grounds."

Restaurant missing a proper kids menu which was a shame as the family room will attract families and the restaurant is not kid friendly and a bit over priced."

"A few miles outside Cuenca, this was a surprise on the plus side for us as it is in a secluded area with grapevines in front and lots of mature trees Super private. No need to stay in Cuenca as it is a short drive in the morning to get to the hanging houses if Cuenca. The main lounge has a woodburning fireplace which greeted us upon our arrival. "It is a very beautiful old property, which is why it needs continuous maintenance. They should have adequate staff to receive clients, we were waiting 30 minutes at the reception, there was no one. At least the bar across the street was open and the wait became shorter. "Second time of staying having booked through Hotels.com. Both times hotel had no record of our booking. Unclear where the fault lay. Luckily a room was available each time as out of season. Hotel and rooms need refurbishment."
