"We choose this hotel as a historic building next to the gates of Borjomi Central Park. As it's a historic building we knew that rooms can't be very big, you have windows opening into the main courtyard and so on. I really liked the old building. We got a parking place for car at the yard of the hotel. We didn't use spa services as we had just a limited time at Borjomi but there were plenty of free times for their small spa. "This is more a motel then hotel and deserves just 2-2.5 stars. It had no phone service and had only the most basic things, I.e. 1 chair, no table, non-working TV and was quite gloomy. Employees on the other hand were very hospitable and helpful."

Ubisa Monastery is just 300m off the E60 National Road and a nice stop between Gori and Kutaisi. The St. George Basilica was built in the 9th century and the murals were painted by late 14th century artist Damiane. Two rooms in the Tbilisi National Museum (opposite the gold treasure exhibition) are reserved for five Icons, a door, the Tryptich Icon and an Epitaphios (holy shroud) saved from Ubisi Monastery.
