The outside smelled just like a fresh pile of cow poo was placed under your nose, and since our room windows were open, that smell stayed in the room for hours. It seems like multiple rooms share a shower and toilet, so people running around in towels and chatting with each other in the hall is normal. They did change it for me. The passages in the hotel have a stale smoke smell, which is really not nice and quite disgusting.
