"This does appear to have once been a grand hotel, but it has since been neglected. While the entrance area and staircase still look impressive, the room was in poor repair, with a dated 1980s/90s feel. However, it was spacious, with a Nespresso coffee machine and two BBC English channels. The breakfast room was grim and the food average. Overall, too expensive for the poor quality. The hotel desperately needs money spending on it."

"Nice, Clean, Quiet, Modern Hotel for a stopover in Brest. We were touring around the Brittany Coast, and we stayed here for one night, on our way from Morlaix, en route to Quimper. This hotel has all you would expect from a Mercure. Location-wise, it is a 5 mins drive / 15 mins walk from the city centre, and the start of the cafes (recommend Kafé Kanggui), coffee shops & shopping area that begins on Rue Louis Pasteur and runs up Rue Jean Jaurès. "

"I’ve been coming to Le Brittany since I was a little girl, and although the hotel has changed a lot, what’s not changed is the friendly welcome you always get from the staff. The hotel is very close to the ferry port so it’s a perfect place to stay if you arrive late from the ferry or have an early departure. It’s a great base to explore Roscoff from and it’s easy to stroll into the town from the hotel. One of my highlights is the buffet breakfast, so many local delights to try! "

"Charming hotel with unique sea view. Staff were very hospitable and one of the best breakfast ranges I’ve ever had in a French hotel. Rooms spacious and shower great. Central and convenient to the old town and 10 euros for private overnight parking was great value. "

"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I stayed two nights at this hotel and had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, the employees had great smiles and service, and the food was delicious. On the second day, I had trouble finding a taxi to go to a restaurant in the next city due to the rainy weather, but to my surprise, the hotel staff gave me a lift to the restaurant. "It was close to town hall and we were here for a civil wedding ceremony. The cuisine was excellent. The view of the sea from our room was perfect. The room was exceptionally clean. We laughed with the cleaning staff as they didn’t understand English and we didn’t understand French. We finally explained our situation and they accommodated us. The only downside was no TV in the room. We were so busy it really didn’t matter, There were connections between on the wall but no TV.aaa"
