"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"We managed to get a room at a much more reasonable rate than this hotel is usually available for and what we got was good value for money. The staff were very friendly, the room was small but cosy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The only reason for not giving five stars was that the room was far too hot, so I didn't get much sleep."

"Loved the place. It was right next door to Oxburgh Hall where we wanted to visit. The weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Staff were attentive and the breakfast was probably the best we've had. Couldn't finish it all. It was very tasty. The only criticism we have and it's something that would take very little to rectify was the housekeeping side of things. "A great one night stay! We didn't venture outside of the hotel much but it was really nice having our own external front door. The room was amazing with a lovely bathroom. One thing to note... No radiator in the bathroom, just a heated towel rail. So the bathroom was cold. But plenty of radiators in the rest of the room. We were also lacking a kettle in the room and found the coffee machine a bit of a faff to use. Oh... And the smallest TV in the world. Made watching 1% Club almost impossible 😂...

"I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly...
