"Located right in the centre of Helsingborg, the V Hotel provided us with cleanliness, polite and tentative staff and a room which was on the smaller side compared to normal. However, from previous experience from staying within Scandinavia, we knew this was normal. Some things were surprising though in a hotel of this quality - the curtains not being of sufficient quality to keep out any of the bright sunlight, the only way to turn on the fan was by climbing up on the bed, the tv remote not working. A bit disappointing in a hotel at this price point. "

"Place is great for kids, with lots of activities and close to the beach. Most of the staff are very friendly, but usually only one working in the reception which can mean long waiting times. The place definitely needs to do better on cleanliness, one of the bed mattresses had blood stains. There are no fans or air conditioning so if you’re going during the heat prepare to be really hot and sweaty during the night.
