"Le Clos d'Amboise is a beautiful hotel. Our family room was spacious and extremely comfortable, with fantastic amenities. There is a lovely pool and garden area and the restaurant is special. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Also walking distance to all of the sights of Amboise. If heading to the Loire Valley, highly recommend this hotel. "

"Hotel was in a beautiful building. Staff were professional, attentive and organised. We ate in the hotel and had a lovely set dinner choice with a perfect wine recommended. Breakfast was not great, especially for €19 per person, but that was ok in the overall stay. We’d happily stay there again and would recommend. "

"Very nice hotel with excellent facilities, pool etc. Great breakfast and good dinner menu. Our experience spoilt at dinner when the " Canette" ie duckling" arrived overdone, dry, and inedible, instead of pink and moist. Returned the dish untouched. At check-out found that the untouched, returned dish was still charged for, but with a 30% reduction. Complained, but manager defended the dish ,aggressively, saying that was how they always served the dish---badly in my opinion. Conclusion--will not...

"A boutique hotel, Labe has tons of personality with a nice size bedroom and very nice bathroom and tremendous service. Staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a comfortable, positive one."

"Beautifully renovated chateau, combining a thoughtful mixtiure of period features with modern touch. Our room was lovely but rather compact (we only stayed 2 nights so that was fine). We had views of front garden (impressive cedars). Super vista from the terrace and a great outdoor pool. Breakfast was very good but pricey 24€ pp.daily, served in the pavilion accessed by an underground passage. Reception staff were super helpful. "

"Very close to the town centre. The room was well appointed spacious and quiet. The hotel facilities were excellent. The reception staff were attentive and always available. The on-site restaurant served excellent food in the evening. There was a swimming pool on-site which was open, although unheated when I was there but that was not a problem at all for me. Checking in and out all easy and convenient."

"A lovely stay, and the staff could not possibly be nicer or more helpful. This is a historic property that forms its own compound in the heart of the pleasant village of Azay-le-Rideau. The hotel is a short walk from one of the most splendid of the Loire chateaux, and is aso centrally located for daytrips throughout the region. Our room was large and comfortable, if a bit sparsely furnished. The bathroom was quite new, modern, and well-fitted out. We'd happily have stayed longer."
