"We have visited this hotel a few times as we love the spa and bar. The staff are polite and the hotel is clean and worthy of its 4 star. They have a great range of gins and lunch was delicious. However… The bathroom in our standard room was tiny!!! It was like an aeroplane toilet and the shower tray was slippy and so small that you couldn’t even step back to wash your hair. I wouldn’t recommend room 34. The spa no longer has loungers which is a big shame as I love relaxing on them and they now...

"A nice hotel in a good area, I found the staff really helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated but that’s ok, it was comfortable and clean, had a lovely view of the river. Great choice for breakfast. Had an evening meal which was also good. Happily stay again "

"great! here cuz i got an off-season deal. superb included breakfast, wonderful staff, etc. only critical comment is that housekeeping doesn't need to put two fresh (wonderfully soft and huge) bath towels every day, when i've only used one, nor two more shampoos etc every day, when i've only used half of one. not a big deal in the scheme of things, and it is a four star hotel etc, but staff could be trained to be more 'eco-friendly'. wonderful hotel, even when too cold for the beach. "

"Excellent location, very convenient for Salisbury Cathedral, Guildhall Market, Poultry Cross, tons of shopping, very accessible. Staff are excellent, very friendly & helpful. Great breakfast included. Hotel has a parking lot, additional cost of 7.50 GBP daily. Worth it if you have a car. About 20 minute drive to Stonehenge. Great place!"

"It wasn’t stipulated in the booking that we had to pay for parking. It usually is free for guests but NOT if booked through a third party. Breakfast selection was good. We had selected a premium room, but I’m not sure if that was what we got. It looked nothing like the photos on the site. Otherwise the property is good value for money and conveniently situated. "

"It was wonderful. The room and grounds were beautiful. There was a shuttle that took us into town so we didn’t have to worry about driving at night after enjoying the pub. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. "
