"This property has gone down hill since it opened as a Shangrila. It is now 20 years old and despite several branding changes (now VOCO an IIHG hotel) and a renovation, the service and remodel is substandard. The hotel claims it is a 5 star but the room service menu is a joke. The food is hust bad. And the inviting feeling to foreigners it once had with English speaking employees, currency exchange service, ann ATM on premises and a room service menu loaded with foreign options, there are...

"Excellent hotel for the price which included breakfast except the fridge didn't work well. Changzhou is not a tourist city so getting around was challenging perhaps a better tourist map in english. The staff and hotel was very good"

It was 33° outside and air con wasn't on, and after a lot of debating they turned it on for about 30 mins. The outdoor pools and children's area where disgusting, pool half full and full of algae.
