"Overall, the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel with well kept facilities. The pool and spa are great. The breakfast is wonderful! We had only one complaint: the shuttle to the train station. Upon check out we were asked if we wanted to use it and said yes. It was scheduled to leave 10 minutes later and no one showed up to drive the van. We waited about 15 minutes after it was scheduled to leave and no one ever came. It was at checkout time so the lobby was very busy and we didn’t have time...

Towels were old and room service did not leave enough coffee cartridges daily, had to call for additional. "This property is a gem. And so is the staff. Anja at the front desk was so accomadating. With kids they gave us a cute room with enough space for 2 adults and and 2 kids. The only thing is they don't have AC which make sense with the weather there but gave us enough fans. The restaraunts here has the best view and the best food - Rosti, fondue and the breakfast were amazing! Cute little town and this was the perfect place to stay. We didn't end up using the swim/spa facilities."

Seems as if they don't want to mention the upgrade fee at first but will tell you that this room is what we have but with some prompting, found that an upgrade was needed to get a much better room. "Great location halfway up the village,so easy to access both cable cars. Room was spacious with a great view of the mountains from the balcony and very quiet generally. "Communication prior to stay was quick and useful! Upon arrival, the staff go above and beyond to be helpful. Check-in was easy and someone was on hand to assist if needed.
