"So our stay started off great! Lovey spacious family room with a smart tv to watch Netflix on so kids were delighted. However at around 12.30am the couple next door decided to have a domestic and our kids got scared listening to this. Adam the night porter moved us to another room within minutes of asking him. "Loved the location opposite the Mayo Peace Garden and just 10 mins walk from the hustle of Castlebar. Breakfasts were great but the restaurant menu wasn't easy for me as I'm Gluten and Dairy Free. NO PROBLEM - our lovely waitress chatted with the chef and I had an absolutely delicious Thai curry. Thank you so much for your care and attention. We had a great stay X"

"Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money."

"We had a fantastic stay for New Year’s Eve. House caters for large numbers. All rooms are spacious & furnished to an extremely high-level. "Wonderful place in Westport. Christy and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Great place, nice room and a fantastic breakfast. Short walk into town-leave the car and walk into town as travel and parking in town can be nightmarish. Only negative, and this is not a deal breaker, is that the shower was a bit claustrophobic. Now I am six foot five so maybe not an issue for most people, but again, not major at all. Stay here-you won't be disappointed."
