"The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice."

The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. "A great place to stay. Easy access to the north and south coasts. Beautiful room with babbling brook outside. The owners were lovely, helpful and very accommodating. "Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week....
