"A tad out of the way but a small walk and sightseeing was wonderful. Staff were great, restaurant, bar and pool area together is a brilliant design."

"The Mecure Irwin St was very well located. Some very helpful staff. David in Cucina in Hay was particularly good Some negatives Hot water was very hit and miss, cold most mornings. If you got to breakfast later than 8 you missed out on pastries, bacon,cold meats etc. "

"The room, car park and dining were all easily accessible and good. The bathroom was a bit irritating - shower curtain that flaps onto one when showering, basin too small. But there was hot water and good towels. The whole hotel was very quiet, we wondered why it was so empty? Unfortunately the pool was inaccessible, something about not having a permit to open it."

"Perfect for proximity to the event I was attending. The upgrade was amazing and I loved my room and view! Didn’t like the parking situation! Had to walk through the dirty back of hotel area and down the carpark exit ramp to get to the hotel entrance. Overall a fabulous little place."
